We are eagerly looking forward to celebrating a Passover Seder Service with you on Sunday, March 1 starting with our 10:00 a.m. Morning Service. We invite you and your family to join us on this very special Friendship Sunday. Following the Morning Service, we will all participate in the Passover Ritual Meal which Rev. Rick Andersen of CHAIM Ministries will present and explain. The theme of our service will be “Messiah in the Passover.” While a free will offering will be received, there will be no charge for the dinner which will conclude our time together. If you are eager to learn more about the significance of the Lord’s Supper in light of the Jewish Passover celebration, we invite you to join us. All men are invited to our annual Men’s Life Breakfast on Saturday, February 14 at 9:00 a.m. at the church. “Expectations and Delusions: Faith, Sin and the Pursuit of Happiness” will be the theme presented by Mr. Ray Sikes, who is a long time friend of Grace Church. Ray is the author of Blues for a Dime Store Guitar, a novel, and the non-fiction Keeping It Between the Ditches: Living the Christian Life. Ray speaks to various groups about writing, Christian spirituality, and church and family life. This breakfast will kick off a 6 week Saturday morning Men’s Life Bible Study based on the book Quiet Strength by Coach Tony Dungy. These Saturday morning studies will begin with breakfast at 8 a.m.
Ladies, there are plenty of opportunities for you to join in the study of God’s Word. A Community Women’s Bible Study will begin to meet again on Thursday morning March 5th at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Then on Tuesday mornings another women’s Bible study meets in the Smyrna area. Women of Wisdom continue their study of the book of Luke-Living with Passion and Purpose, at 10:00 a.m. at Jackie Lombardo’s 116 London Dr., Smyrna. A Christian Support group and Bible study is held at the church on Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. Women of Character and Men of Integrity is open to anyone who is looking for answers and encouragement from God’s Word and Christian fellowship.
